Course Enrolment and Course Intentions
Spring/Summer Course Enrolment
The majority of undergraduate students enrol in spring/summer term courses through the Chang School of Continuing Education.
Engineering and science students may be eligible to enrol in select program courses through the summer transition programs:
Enrolment deadlines for select undergraduate courses (i.e. non-Chang School and non-spring/summer transition courses) are confirmed by the full refund deadline on the Drop a Course page and in the Undergraduate Calendar Significant Dates.
Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 Course Intentions
The course intentions period for the fall 2026 and winter 2027 terms is
Thursday, March 5, at 6 a.m. to Wednesday, March 11, at 11:59 p.m.
Participation in course intentions is mandatory for all undergraduate students in full-time programs. Details are available on the Course Intentions page.
A message reminding students to participate in course intentions will appear to full-time undergraduate and law students on the my.torontomu.ca landing page between March 5 and March 11. Additionally, the RO will send the following emails to full-time program undergraduate students:
Academic departments are encouraged to promote course intentions to their students through email communications, advising sessions, social media, etc.
The course intention adjustment period will be from May 6 - 8, allowing students to adjust their course intentions after receiving their winter 2026 term results and enrolling in spring/summer term courses, where applicable.
Students who decide not to return to TMU for the upcoming school year after participating in course intentions should be aware that it is their responsibility to withdraw from their courses or program by the appropriate deadline date. Students who do not withdraw will be scheduled into their fall term courses in late July and winter term courses in November, and may face academic and financial consequences as a result of these enrolments.
