Course Scheduling
If you are involved in course scheduling, check out the scheduling deadlines.
Verification of Enrolment, New Students
Verification of Enrolment (VOE) letters are now available through July 17 to new undergraduate and law students admitted for fall 2026. These letters are commonly used to confirm enrolments with banks and financial institutions in order to access RESP funds.
New students can request a VOE letter through Request a Letter on MyServiceHub after they have accepted their offer of admission. Letters will be released once admission conditions have been cleared.
Proof of Enrolment, Current Students
Proof of Enrolment (POE) letters are now available for fall 2026 and winter 2027 terms for current students who have completed their course intentions.
Proof of Enrolment letters confirm the enrolment status based on course enrolments/intentions. To be confirmed as full-time, students must be enrolled in at least 4 billing units (80% course load) for the term.
Webinars for New Students
Webinars for new undergraduate students will take place in July. International students will have a dedicated webinar, and all incoming undergraduate students will be invited to attend pre-orientation webinars through the Summer Jumpstart program. These webinars are a great introduction to TMU and an opportunity for new students to learn how to prepare for fall.

Are you planning pre-orientation or orientation sessions for your program?
Let the ServiceHub know about pre-orientation or orientation sessions you are planning, so their team can promote your sessions when talking to students. Please email details to the Client Services Manager, Imran Ali, imran.a.ali@torontomu.ca.
OSAP Implications of Course and Program Changes
Advisors are reminded to encourage students to connect with Student Financial Assistance before making any academic changes -- including dropping courses, withdrawing, or switching programs. These changes can affect a student’s OSAP eligibility, as the program requires students to maintain a minimum course load and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress.
If your program is considering curriculum updates or structural changes (such as course delivery format or offerings), please consult with the Student Financial Assistance team early to assess potential OSAP impacts. Even well-meaning academic adjustments can unintentionally lead to funding loss or OSAP restrictions.
To support students in maintaining both academic and financial stability, feel free to reach out with any questions. Staff can find their contacts in the RO Snapshot and students can contact the ServiceHub.
OSAP Application Launch for 2026-2027
Full-time
The full-time OSAP application for 2026-2027 is now available on the OSAP website! Returning and incoming students are encouraged to apply and submit their applications early to ensure they are processed before the fall semester begins.
Part-time
The part-time OSAP application for 2026-2027 is expected to launch in late June/early July on the OSAP website.
For fast and secure processing, students must upload all required documents directly to their online OSAP application. TMU’s Student Financial Assistance office is paperless, so students must submit all documents electronically rather than printing or mailing them.
For questions or support with OSAP applications, please direct students to the ServiceHub.

Policy Update: Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science Semester Model |
|
|
|
Policy 48(a): Undergraduate and Lincoln Alexander School of Law Academic Term:
The Senate has approved policy changes to align the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS) semester with the regular undergraduate 12 week semester. Beginning in the 2027-2028 academic year, FEAS undergraduate students will start classes at the same time as other undergraduate students and also have a scheduled Fall reading week.
This change addresses long-standing scheduling differences, as FEAS programs have been the only undergraduate programs without a Fall semester reading week and earlier start in the Winter term. For more information, review the May 5, 2026 Senate Agenda.
