Refer to the Dean’s List Award-Overview for information on award criteria and special consideration. Note that requests for updates due to special consideration must be submitted to the RO no later than May 28 for students who are graduating in June.

Student Communications
Undergraduate students recently received the following emails:
These emails share important information on winter term grades, course intentions, spring/summer term enrolment and OSAP. A copy is posted on the News and Updates from the ServiceHub page.
Admissions
It’s that exciting time of year when applicants are receiving and accepting offers! If applicants have specific questions about their admission decision, they can contact the ServiceHub. If academic advisors have questions about the timelines, policies and practices related to admission, contact the program's Admission Officer. Check out upcoming admission deadlines.
Spring Course Enrolment
Undergraduate students may enrol in courses offered by their faculty or through The Chang School of Continuing Education. Students enrolling through the Chang School should note that enrolment and refund deadlines differ from undergraduate deadlines. They should refer to the Course Enrolment page for details.
Swapping Spring/Summer Courses
Students are only able to swap courses within a term (i.e. swap a spring course for a spring course, or a summer course for a summer course). If a student attempts to swap a spring course for a summer course or vice versa, a message will appear: “Swapping from spring to summer is not allowed. Students who wish to swap, should drop the course and enrol into the new course.”
Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 Course Intentions
The course intention adjustment period for fall and winter term is Wednesday,
May 6 at 6 a.m. to Friday, May 8 at 11:59 p.m.
This is the final opportunity for students to:
-
modify the course intentions they submitted in March, or
-
submit their course intentions if they did not participate earlier.
Students who do not complete their course intentions will not receive a priority enrolment appointment for the course enrolment period beginning in August.
Academic departments are encouraged to promote the course intentions period to students via email, advising sessions, social media and other channels. A reminder email will be sent to students on May 6, and a message will also be displayed on the my.torontomu.ca landing page during the adjustment period.
Program Withdrawals
Students should be advised that if their plans change after submitting course intentions and they do not intend to return for the next academic year, they must submit a program withdrawal request to avoid being enrolled in courses. Students remain academically and financially responsible for any course enrolments. Your support in reinforcing this messaging is appreciated.
Proof of Enrolment Letters
Students admitted for fall 2026 will be able to request a Verification of Enrolment letter between June 1 and July 1.

Renewable Entrance Scholarship Recipients: 2026/2027 Eligibility
Returning entrance scholarship recipients should review the terms and conditions for the complete list of renewal eligibility criteria.
Recipients are expected to complete their fall 2026 and winter 2027 course intentions during the course intention adjustment period to have their enrolment accurately reflect an 80% course load in both terms. Failure to do so by the end of the adjustment period will result in payment delays in September.
