Registrarial Support Services (RSS) Updates

Spring/Summer 2025 INC Grade Lapse Processing

Incomplete (INC) grades assigned for spring/summer 2025 courses will lapse on November 30 for all Undergraduate and Continuing Education courses. Any outstanding INC grades assigned for winter 2025 courses will also lapse on November 30. A lapsed INC report will be deposited in your program department folder, if applicable, by December 1.

For complete details regarding INC grades, refer to Policy 170(a): Undergraduate Course Grading, Academic Program Standing, and Eligibility to Graduate, section 5.5.2 and Procedures, Section 3 and Policy 170(c): Lincoln Alexander School of Law: Grading, Promotion, and Academic Standing Policy.

ServiceHub Student Communications

The ServiceHub will be sending out two communications the first week of December. We are sharing drafts of these communications with you in advance as an FYI.

The ServiceHub will share another communication with all undergraduate students on Monday, January 5, 2026, with updates on winter term fees and deadlines, OSAP, AwardSpring, and the winter disbursement of the Entrance Scholarship. We will share the draft of this email with you in the December newsletter.

Curriculum Advising Updates

Curriculum Advising has introduced a new report!

The Minor Statistics for Graduates Report gives departments better insight into student engagement with minors. Rather than submitting an Ad Hoc Data Request, you can now generate this report yourself to access timely, relevant data. Whether you are planning future course offerings, evaluating the popularity of a minor, or considering curriculum updates, this report can provide the insights you need.

You can customize it to:

  • Identify which minor(s) students from a particular program or faculty are completing.

  • Support course planning and potential curriculum changes.

  • Analyze trends in minor selection across graduating students.

For more information, review the Step-by-Step Guide: Minor Statistics for Graduates Report

Undergraduate, Graduate and Law Students

Undergraduate, graduate and law students can view their individualized exam schedules, including time and location, on Friday, October 31 in MyServiceHub under Manage Classes on their Student Home Page.

If an examination occurs over a flexible time frame (e.g. a take-home exam) or runs longer than three hours, it won’t show on the exam schedule.  It is up to the department or school to communicate this to their students. We encourage all faculty/contract lecturers to post the details regarding exams on D2L. Check out the student tutorial on how to view exam schedules.

Chang School Exams

Chang School final exams are usually held during the last scheduled class or, for online courses, the last Saturday of the term (December 6, 2025). Chang School exams do not appear on the undergraduate, graduate or law exam schedule. Find out more about Chang School exams.

Accommodated Test Centre

Students registered with Academic Accommodation Support (AAS) should use the AAS Student Portal to confirm their exam times and locations. The MyServiceHub exam calendar will not apply to students writing in the Accommodated Test Centre.

Other Communications

Faculty/contract lecturers have received a communication regarding final fall assessments. Departmental administrators have received details about invigilator hiring and online training. If you should be added to the exams mailing list, contact exams@torontomu.ca.

Students Still Need a Physical OneCard

While Digital OneCards can be used for door access and purchasing, all undergraduate, graduate and law students still need to get a physical OneCard for identification during midterms, exams and other assessments. Check out more information about the OneCard.
