August means summer is in full swing and back-to-school is around the corner!

Course Enrolment
On August 4, 2026, new undergraduate students and returning undergraduates who submitted course intentions will be officially enrolled in their fall 2026 courses, with schedules viewable in MyServiceHub by the end of the business day.
During the scheduling process, course intentions will be dropped as the system attempts to enrol students in their requested courses. To avoid confusion, students who log in to my.torontomu.ca during this time will receive a pop-up message explaining the process.
While every effort is made to enrol students based on their course intentions, it is not always possible to accommodate all requests. Students who are not enrolled in one or more intended courses should be advised to enrol during the enrolment period. For more information, refer to reasons why course intentions did not result in course enrolments.
Withdrawals
Please ensure students who change their plans for the fall 2026 term are advised of the following to avoid academic and financial penalties:

Returning Students: Students are scheduled into classes based on their March/May course intentions. Those no longer attending must follow the appropriate steps by the course drop deadline.

First-Year Students: New full-time students who have accepted their offer are automatically enrolled in required classes. If they no longer plan to attend TMU, they are responsible for cancelling their acceptance.

Domestic and International Fee Rates
TMU students are assigned one of three fee rate categories. Fee rates are listed on Undergraduate Tuition and Fees, and information about updating or appealing a fee rate is available on Fee Rates.
Students can confirm their fees on their MyServiceHub account:

Domestic Ontario fee rate appears as “Tuition UGrad”

Domestic Out-of-Province fee rate appears as “Tuition UGrad OOP”
-
International fee rate appears as “Tuition UGrad Foreign”
Account Holds
Account holds may be applied to a student’s MyServiceHub account for a variety of reasons, and impacts can vary depending on the type of hold. Students with a collections hold due to overdue fees will not be enrolled in their fall 2026 classes on August 4.
Student Financial Assistance
OSAP
Students who wish to be considered for funding are encouraged to apply early for 2026/2027 OSAP. Enrolment confirmation and release of funds will commence after course enrolment wraps up. Encourage students to submit their application as early as possible and check their OSAP Message Centre regularly for updates and any required actions. Out-of-Province Funding
Out-of-province students are also welcome to apply for funding via their home province or territory. To learn more visit our Student Financial Assistance - Out-of-Province page.

Join representatives from the Senate Office and Registrar’s Office to discuss Academic Consideration Requests (ACRs) and academic grade and standing appeals from an academic advisor’s perspective. Register for the ACR workshop.

Academic Integrity Processes: What Advisors Need to Know
October 14, 10 - 11 a.m.
When a student shares there is a suspicion of academic misconduct under Policy 60, academic advisors are often a trusted first point of contact. Find out what you need to know at the academic integrity workshop. |

Digital OneCards - Students Still Need a Physical Card
Digital OneCards can be used for door access and purchasing. All undergraduate, graduate and law students still need to get a physical OneCard for identification during exams and other assessments. Check out more information about the OneCard.

Advising Contacts Website: Send updates for the academic program advising contacts website to advisingnetwork@torontomu.ca.
TMU Directory: Each department has designated staff (usually an administrator or departmental assistant) who can make changes to the TMU directory, including the green and white pages.
